After placing this diary under the cross all night the Lord has blessed it and warded off its evils. This morning I was also blessed by the presence of Matthew Hopkins to ensure my well-being. I did not mention the diary as it would only worry him and wished not to take up his very important time. I feel safer knowing he is in town, helping us. I am glad to put last night behind me. I am glad that my husband has called for Matthew Hopkins. Our troubles of the past seemed to have stayed there and we can now move towards peace. I hope that he can help my marriage and save the village.
[[Did you say Mathew Hopkins? I've heard of him.]]
